Emine Comer APRN, CPNP-PC

Emine is a native Floridian, originally form the Jacksonville area. After High School, she moved to Gainesville to attend the University of Florida, starting college as a Sociology major. Ultimately changing her degree and completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, in the spring of 2005.

 After graduating, Emine accepted a position as an RN at Florida Hospital in Orlando, and subsequently completed two years of the Nurse Residency Program on the Pediatric Medical/Surgical Unit. After 2 years, Emine left Florida Hospital to pursue her graduate degree. In 2007 she moved back to Gainesville to attend the University of Florida full time, while working evenings and weekends as a pediatric telephone triage nurse for the Pediatric After-Hours Clinic. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing with a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner focus in 2008.

 Emine is certified in pediatric primary care by the Pediatric Nurse Certification Board. She has previously worked for private pediatrician’s offices in both the Kissimmee/St. Cloud and Melbourne areas. She joined Pediatrics in Brevard - Rockledge office in the fall of 2017. She brings with her the experience of working with all ages and developmental stages, but admits she really loves working with new moms and babies! Emine is married and has 2 young, energetic sons. She resides in the Grant-Valkaria area. When she is not busy at work she enjoys traveling with her family, cooking, outdoors adventures and playing with her kids.
