Telemedicine

In some circumstances where a thorough physical exam is not essential to the visit, we may offer a Telemedicine appointment. 

Telemedicine involves the use of electronic communication, where appointments are conducted through videoconferencing, using secure, real-time video and sound software, to connect with your provider.

• Provides patients with the opportunity to remain in the comfort of their own home, while still receiving care from a physician or nurse practitioner.
• Less time out of work and school for appointments.
• The ability to ask questions and receive diagnosis and treatment plans in situations where you may not normally have access or the ability to travel to the office.
• Perfect for certain follow-up visits to discuss the progress of a treatment plan or review diagnostic results or evaluations.

• Have your child with you in a well-lit room that is as quiet and free of distractions as possible.
• Log in 5-10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time.
• Make sure the video and audio on your electronic device is accessible and turned on.
