Betty Cheney-Kelly, MD

Dr. Betty Cheney Kelly was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio.  Receiving her Bachelor of Science degree at Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio, she attended medical school at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine, Dayton, Ohio.  Dr. Cheney moved to Orlando, Florida, to complete her pediatric residency at Arnold Palmer Medical Center; she stayed an additional year to complete a Chief Residency and joined Pediatrics in Brevard in 2019.

Dr. Cheney knew she wanted to become a pediatrician from a young age after shadowing her own pediatrician.  Throughout her education and training, she’s had numerous experiences which emphasized the daily joy which comes with caring for children.  She continues to appreciate the opportunity to monitor children’s growth and development, while fostering relationships with the entire family.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Cheney enjoys baking, biking, and spending time outdoors with her husband and son.  With extended family members and friends scattered across the country, she takes pleasure in sharing the exciting sites along the Space Coast.
